What makes HFP special?
A few words come to mind: warm, friendly, compassionate, familiar, innovative, and convenient. Healthy Future Pediatrics is all about creating effective doctor-patient communication to establish deep, meaningful relationships. Healthcare today has become inefficient and impersonal, frustrating patients and families at a time when they need comfort and care. It's time to return healthcare to what parents and children want it to be.
How does HFP do it?
With an excellent staff and a state-of-the-art medical facility, Healthy Future Pediatrics can provide our patients with fast and reliable healthcare, as well as increase accessibility to Dr. Lindgren and his staff for medical advice. Our computerized records system allows us to work with an electronic medical record instead of paper charts, cutting down time needed to access a patient's history. Plus, our nurses will be answering all phone calls (using nationally recognized protocols) to better coordinate your child's healthcare needs, avoiding those voicemail headaches. These are just a few of the improvements that our clinic has implemented. Please stay tuned for more to come.

education
and attending nationally recognized conferences on a regular basis.

Tammy Winchell, CPNP
Tammy
began her medical career in 1988, as a volunteer with the
North Country Emergency Medical Services in
Yacolt, Washington. While serving first as a
volunteer and later as an emergency medical
technician, Tammy responded to hundreds of
medical emergencies. However, Tammy’s concurrent
academic pursuits at the University of Portland
led her temporarily away from a career in
medicine.
In 2002, Tammy returned to the University of
Portland to pursue her nursing education. Her
exemplary scholarship was recognized by her
Dean’s List distinction from 2002 to 2004.
She also earned the Anne C. Ferlic Award,
which recognized
excellence in pediatric study.
In 2004, Tammy was admitted to Yale University’s
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She earned
membership in the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor
Society Delta Mu Chapter at Yale. She graduated
with honors in 2004, and earned her
certification with the National Association of
Pediatric Nurse Practitioners soon thereafter.
After graduation, Tammy practiced at the
Pediatric Clinic, Inc., in Longview, Washington.
Her patient population included both privately
insured and Medicaid patient populations.
Tammy resides in Olympia with her husband of

quilting, and crafts in her spare time.
